MARINE CLIENTELE
From 1983 until 2011, the Marine Employees was a separate agency administering RCW 47.64, the collective bargaining statute for employees of the Washington State Ferries. In 2011, the Marine Employees Commission became a separate commission within the Public Employment Relations Commission. In 2013, the Marine Employees Commission was eliminated and PERC assumed jurisdiction over RCW 47.64.
